This from a previously mis-placed thread-quoting from a release update:

"• Single sensor can drive two FS Variables that have a range of values (reversers, throttles, brakes, etc.)."

What I want to do is use this:

http://www.phidgets.com/products.php?product_id=1052

to control the IAS input and then when pushed, controls the VS input. Once pushed a 2nd time, it goes back to controlling IAS.

Is this possible? Many, MANY thanks to you, especially if it will do this!

Well I suppose if the Phidget software (Allan's area) can track the state that the switch is in. But doesn't the L45 have a VS wheel? Also if you do it this way how are you going to control Mach speed? This is a different offset all together.

No, there's not VS wheel. The SPD encoder (rotary) controls IAS until pushed, then it's controlling Mach. Once the VS pushbutton is pressed, the SPD encoder controls the VS.
