Hi

I returned my Symulatory Pedestal for repair. The repair was completed one month ago but the company refuses to return the item or to answer any email. As my TQ was also from them it will not work without the pedestal. Any sugestions as to how I could sort this or do I put it down to experience and repurchase from another company. Anybody thinking of purchasing from this company should beware

Hi Martin. I am not sure what to tell you there are a number of people here that have units and they all seem to be pretty happy with there products. I really do not know where else you would buy a complete unit ready to go. Has any one here had contact with them in the last couple of weeks? Lets keep trying to get this worked out. Lets not jump to any conclusions just yet...

Hi Martin,

Sorry to hear that you still havent received the unit back working.
As an alternative for inputs for the TQ I think you could use:
http://www.lbodnar.dsl.pipex.com/joystick/

It wont auto move the trim wheel but would handle the flaps/speed brake/throttles plus the TOGA and other switches...

I'm sure the opencockpits joystick input card would do it too...

I have written to a friend of Jakub about their non response. I too have been waiting months for a response to questions about my Throttle and Overhead panel. I'll keep you all posted.

After 2+ months of no replies and no replacements of some missing itmes I had to (reluctantly) use threats of further action. Miraculously, within hours of sending that email his "email server problems" resolved and his "spam filter" stopped blocking my emails. Yeah, right. :roll:

Damn shame - coz we need a reasonably priced line of products like this.

Thanks for replies.

Took Nic's advice and threatened legal action. Also sent it it Polish (used auto translater - the result was unintelligible Polish!) However a reply came by return. The pedestal is on its way!! So watch this space! Thanks Mike for your help.

Apparantly Jakub is busy with Australian orders at the moment - pity for the rest of us!

He send You e-mail at thursday. i don't know why don't You recive it.
Jakub don't speek english at all. So there is not good idea to call him.
I know about comunication problem very weel.
There is many reason. Server problems, lots of work. Also Jakub don't speak english at all, only undersanding basic wroten english. If he has something dificult he send it to me ;).
I'm trying to help if i could but it not my primary work. Im network admin , Jakub is only my friend.

YOU HAVE RIGHT. I need to talk with him serios after I'll be back. Regards Marek

Unfortunately I was over optimistic that Jakub (Symulatory) was speaking the truth when he said my Pedestal has been despatched. It has not been. I would advise extreme caution if dealing with this company.
