help AEROSOFT MCP with project magenta

After years without a glitch my MCP goes bizark!
the displays show:
Err 001 5n 00058

and the whole thing is frozen

Checked google for mcp747 posts but no luck

Can someone help me as mcp747.com is dead.

I was given one of the aerosoft units which had ceased to work. I handed it to the electronic techs at work who said they could fix it if they had a drawing of the schematic. I failed to find this schematic after extensive searching and eventually gave up, wrecked the unit for parts and bought a CP Flight MCP. I know this isn't the news you were hoping for but I think you can't repair it, sorry. CP Flight is AWESOME gear!

Hi Jackpilot,

did you try a master reset yet? It helped me once.

You need to open the unit and have a jumper set when powering on.

Procedure was once described on their (aerosoft australia) web page.

If you can´t find it I could email it to you.

Hi Jackpilot,

I attach the description here for any one to have at least a last try if the MCP seems to be broken. It is recommended to reload the lates firmware though.
