Hello ,

I am just starting to build a 767 throttle. I would appreciate all kind of help, specially any draw of outside dimensions.

Thank you and best regards

Sorry, I don't have any dimensions, but for some general info; mine is build using the bulkhead method. Several (11 to be exact) bulkheads are cut for the various contours found at different points on the throttle housing.

The bulkheads are joined by a common threaded rod with all levers pivoting on this rod. After ensuring everything is square, the bulkheads are screwed to a plywood base. There is a lot of stuff in a three engine Boeing throttle and not much space inside. A twin-engine throttle will increase you inside working room somewhat.

Mine was cut from 1/2" MFD and a couple of bulkheads cut from 1/8" and is quite heavy. About 25 lbs. It is covered with aluminum, styrene plastic, and rubber sheeting.

All of this is screwed down with over 30 stainless steel flat-head screws.

See my photo gallery for a few shots in an exploded view and under construction.
