LMAO. Thats a riot. Too Funny!

Roberto, I was just talking to a guy that was looking at my sim the other night, he was one of a couple captians on the A340-500 Air Canada has (2) A340-500's. When he tells me that he made over 350 thousand a year, that makes me sick.

Apparently your pay is based on the weight of the aircraft, the higher the gross weight, the more money you make.

I guess though everything is relative, the more you make the more you spend :)

I need to remember the 1,2,3's Dude, that was funny.

Yeah Deude

Although I´ve seen a couple of A-320 guys earn a lot of Dough... but the heavier the more you get payed although the pay here is not as near to half that amount man and that is Captain salary... oh well I don´t have complaints I love my job way too much!

Take care,

Roberto

When I'm in the air, I'd rather have an overpaid professional at the controls than an underpaid amateur :)

Anybody hear about the 747-400 several years ago that went through volcano ashes. All engines flame-out, windows sandblasted so no outside visual at all, they later found volcano ashes within the seats. And yet the crew flew the a/c, restarted the engines and landed the 747 safely.

YES!! I do remember that and I remember them saying that it was only the professionalism of the crew that got that plane on the ground safe!
