Please note that I also have sent this message to PM support directly but just curious if there is someone out there experiencing the same issue.

On behalf of a fellow cockpit builder, who doesn’t write in the English language very well, I would like to post the following problem.

Attached to this email you will find 2 pictures that were taken of the STBY and EICAS pages of the cockpit project in question. One picture shows the display in normal situation just after start up of the software, the second picture shows the situation after a while. In this picture you can clearly see that the STBY instruments are completely replaced by white surfaces and the STBY horizon gauge is corrupted, also the resolution of the EICAS has degraded heavily.
This situation occurs sometimes after a few minutes and sometimes after an hour of operation.

The computer that runs this display (through the DVI ouput) also runs the lower EICAS display through the analog output of the videocard. This lower EICAS display is unaffected by this phenomenon. Both screens are rotated 90 degrees.

Another strange phenomenon visible on the problem display is a huge offset in the visible mouse position on the display and the actual interaction of the display. This is best seen when editing the menus of the GC, the mouse is visible much lower on the display then the highlighted (green) menu item.

The version of the GC software is 446.

Could someone give us troubleshoot hints or a direction in which to search for a solution?

This is an OpenGL issue with the graphics card. Try updating the driver.

Couple things...

One, I just see one attached pic.

Two, and I'm new to this, but just heard this the other day. If you've got one DVI and the other monitor to analog it cancels out the DVI to analog. In other words, both are now analog. Now, whether that has anything to do with it..... I don't know. Thought I would just mention that.

Bob, Matt,

Thanks for your quick reply. I forwarded your remarks to my fellow cockpit builder. he will collect some extra information tomorrow. So I will post again with the new information.
