Hello All,

Alex told me to post this question here on the forum, as he didn't know the answer.

Is the 0/0/4 Phidget Interface Kit a stand alone device or does it require another Phidget board? If it is stand alone, will it communicate with Microsoft Flight Simulator Via FSUIPC and the Phidget software?

My need is very simple. I just want it to light "Outer - Middle - Inner" marker lights on my cockpit panel.

This will be my first dealing with Phidgets, so i am totally ignorant on the subject.

Thanks for any help.

Darrell

Darrell,

Yes, Is standalone unit.
Answer to second part of question is also yes.

However, for illuminating marker beacons, or illuminating lamps in general, you will be better off using an Interfacekit 0/16/16 to drive lamps directly. The 0/0/4 are set of four relays. If you want to take next step and have lamps flash, that may be tricky with relays. Relays will certainly get lots of exercise.

Regards,
Alan.
