the Phidgets text LED supplied by phidgets.com. This looks like teh perfect thing to use for building my MCP. If it is supported. Would like to know before I purchase it. Thanx in advance. Here is a link to the product.

The software does support the old LED.
As soon as I get hold of new Text LED I will update software to support.
I intend using for my MCP, Pressurization panel and NAV/COM panels.

Matt, can you give us the size of the LED's, I couldn't find it at the site. Need the size of the digits and the whole daughter boards.
I'm hoping the digits are not too big.

will i need project magenta to display the values correctly for in the mcp??

It's up to you what software you want to use for MCP.
FS2Phidget interfaces using FSUIPC.
It does not matter whether MS-FS, Project Magenta or SomeOtherProduct is behind FSUIPC.
All FS2Phidgets knows about is Phidget Cards and FSUIPC.
I've lost count of how many times this has been stated.
