Alan,

I am continually impressed at your foresight, every time I make a modification my FS2Phidget setup... you seem to have thought of everything!

I have been playing recently with the new .ini file, and have found it very easy and intuitive to work with. This weekend I have been working on a couple of areas including Autobrakes (which are now functioning perfectly), and the A/T Disconnect and TOGA pushbutton switches on my 747-400 Throttles.

I have a question, however do not know whether the answer is related to FS2Phidgets software or to Project Magenta. When I set the .ini file up as below I find that when I press the TOGA (throttle) button it does not 'latch', as I assumed it would. I have to keep my finger on this button to stay in TOGA mode (i.e. to keep the 'THR' indicator illuminated on the MCP)... and as soon as I remove my finger the 'THR' indicator goes out. On the other hand if I select TOGA mode by pressing the 'THR' button itself the mode latches. (I hope my description is clear?).

Do you think that I need to make any changes to my .ini file?

Thanks again for the outstanding freeware!!!

Rob,

Just tried out TOGA with momentary switch.
Works just like you said!
Switch goes off when I let it go.
Spoke with people at Radio Shack -
Here's what they told me "momentary switches are supposed to do that".

There are switches that stay on when you press and walk away from them,
and when you press again stays off.

Radio shack sells for $3 to $6 depending on voltage.

The A/P_Disconnect is easy.
When you press switch you want autoplilot to disconnect.
Irrespective of whether switch ends up in On or Off state.
