I goto plug in my 0/16/16, and all the output leds light up that are on the card, but my comp doesnt recognize it, or even say the card is there. No little chime when I plug it in..nothing. Is my card messed up? The maximum voltage that I put the card is 10.33v. Please tell me I didnt mess up my card..Thanx. I also get the lighted switches that are grounded through the board will light up.

could the problem be that I have all the grounds on the entire card hooked up? When I am using only two outputs.

Upon closer examination, I have burned the board due to a crossed wire. Is there a way to fix the little diode and resistor next to the plug?? Or do I have to buy a new board?

Hi Gokhotit,

I talked to Phidgets Inc in Canada and they said that they would be willing to take a look at the board and see if they could repair it for you and send it back out. It would be up to you to see if you would want to pay for the cost of shipping it to them and the return shipping. If you are not in the America's this might be cost prohibitive, but I wanted you to at least know of the option.

Visit www.phidgets.com (http://www.phidgets.com) to find their address and decide if you would like to use this option.

Thanks

Matt

I talked to phidgets. They wanted to take a look at teh board because my failure was "not normal". I sent them the card, and they sent me a brand new card that same day that I sent mine out. Really good customer support. :D
