Hi All,
just wondered what might cause the GC to "stutter" when I press a button to

retract/extend flaps and lower/raise gear? Have had this with many builds,

so I think it's my setup.

Thanks for any info,

Please check the FS data rate and network data rate in the ND when you
deploy/retract flaps or gear, I would think the sound card on the FS
system is not up to par and lowers the overall performance when those
sounds are played...

Hi Katy,
Ok, I will try this tomorrow, but for your information, I did try disabling

the sound pressing "Q" in FS and still had the problem. This is using the
PMDG with the PM path (no panels).

I then tried 1 client and a Cessna and flaps worked fine.

I need to do alot more poking around - would disabling the soundcard in
device manager help? It is a Soundblaster Audigy1 (very good or so i
thought :o)

Many thanks,

Dave
