I am simply using the FS analog offsets, do you need to have them translated

to bits?

That would be fantastic!
That way i could use a simple offset to drive them versus a range setting.

It would be much cleaner if you made a range checking yourself, in any case

with the next build of the GC, the following bits will be set:

5646 .4 LEFlapsTransit //written by GC
5646 .5 LEFlapsExtended //written by GC

Forgot to add that the analog flap gauge should be enabled in the EICAS,
even if not visible (move it off the screen or so).
