View Full Version : CDU and magenta line in ND

Hi Enrico,

Yesterday I created a flight plan and at some point of time during the flight
I set as next waypoint the destination airport (which was in CDU). So all
the interim waypoints have been dissapeared and everythink looked o.k.
Unfortunately the magenta line in the ND connected my aircraft with the
originally calculated T/D and then straight to the airport. Isn't it supposed to
calculate the new route (direct to the next waypoint that I set in the CDU)
and re-calculate the T/D?

Thanks in advance for the reply.

George,

Maybe that you said and the problem I posted before are the same?

It seems that the first calculated TopOfDescent waypoint does not change
when changes have been made to the route ?

In my case I was also changed the waypoints during flight, but I didn't
delete any, but I added the Star waypoints with constrains for the arrival.

So maybe the CDU does not send to netdir the new ToD?

I don't know, but I'm sure that Enrico will find the problem very soon. Did
you notice any V/S issues?

Have a nice day

Hi,

I will check all of this as soon as I can get to it.

Ciao
