As I have been reading discussions on GAIFR, I noticed some mention EGTFactor
and CHTFactor entiries for the GAIFR INI file. However, when I look at the
documentation in the INI file I don't see anything that references these
entries. Are there such entries and, if so, what is the purpose/usage of
them? I ask because I noticed that with certain aircraft the EGT and CHT go
off the scale.

Thanks,

Phil

Can you point me to some of those aircraft?

The factors are in the respective .txt files, like:

EGTFactor= .85 //85% of full value
CHTFactor= 1

This would be for instance in the Beech Baron 58.txt file in
your main GAIFR folder...

Enrico,

Thus far I have two aircraft where this happens and they are models that I
purchased third party. The one that I have been working with the most is the
Seneca II from Just Flight.

I think what I need to do next is look at the text file in the GAIFR folder
on the SIM and then using GFDisplay display the EGT and CHT temps on my
GF166 and see if it matches what is being displayed in GAIFR. Then I should
have a good idea as to where the problem lies.

Thanks,

Phil
