Maintain fs9 sound output across applications?

Is there a way to maintain fs9 sound output when a non fs9 screen (i.e. PM)
is active?

Short answer, no... if the FS window is not active, the
sound goes, I think it is done on purpose in the MS code.

One of the many down sides of running so many programs on
the same computer as FS.
