Enrico,

Sorry for the delay. I didn't notice the thread.

I mistakenly had MCP automatically starting in two places: FSUPIC and
Wideserver. When I took it out of the FSUPIC file, the runtime error
stopped.

Interestingly, I just got it again yesterday once. This time It happened on

startup; before, it was happening (always) on close. I have

Run1="C:\MCP\MCP.exe" in (only) my Wideclient file, and it crashed right on

startup. I manually restarted it, and it worked fine.

Warm regards,
David

Wow, Enrico, this is incredible.

As soon as I read the thread and starting talking about it, everything
started happening.

Now I can't get the MCP started at all! I haven't done a thing.

I get a BMCP Autopilot, Run-time error '6': Overflow crash whenever I start

the program with MSFS started. When I try to start it without MSFS, I get
the splash, then it disappears as if it closed itself, but it shows up on my

process list.

Shouldn't have brought it up again.

Warm regards,
David

Curious... any hints in the log where it is at when it
happens?

Hi, Enrico.

I'm out of town now, but I'll be home this afternoon (I'm GMT-8).

My plan was to dump it and reinstall, thinking that would work so I can fly

tonight. I was going to send you what I have first, but would you rather I

keep what I have until you have time to look at it?

Warm regards,
David

Enrico,

The reinstall seemed to work, other than I get a blank window on the MCP. I

might have had that before, and it really doesn't matter because I use the
Aerosoft MCP, and it all works.

I do have the old setup in a directory that I can swap back in if there's
something you want me to try for your purposes.

Warm regards,
David

Press Ctrl-R to reset it.

Can you just e-mail me the old INI file again? I sent you an
e-mail but didn't hear back. I think you had pretty extreme
top and left values (-300000 or so)

Ciao

Enrico

Yes, I saw the top and left numbers after you pointed them out, and I'm
totally palms up. I've been opening MCP minimized for so long that I have
no idea how they got so out of whack and how long they've been that way.

The ZIP file is on its way in a separate email.

I didn't get your email, and that's always troubling. I would jump all over

an email from you. ;-)

Warm regards,
David
