PC freezing up with new ESC menu item

Hi,

I had my pc freeze up when I light the smoothing via polygram (as I am not in
front of my pc, I am not sure of the exact wording or spelling, but its in
the upper left side of the menu). If it just lights, the whole pc freezes
and I have to reboot.

The video drivers may not support the option, just don't use it :-)
What video card, OS and drivers are these?

I am using ME and an older PC. Dont know the drivers or other info. I just
wont use that function. I am waiting to put my sim PCs on cable, and will
then be more able to know just whats going on, ie, downloading, scaning,
virus, etc.
