Hi again!

I've got one issue with heading. When I fly manually or with LNAV and I want

to change to HDG mode on MCP, after pressing HDG key headin always
automatically switches to current heading of the plane. For instance if the

plane currently flies magnetic heading 320 manually and I set HDG100 on MCP

(which I want to fly now automatically) then I press HDG button, and the MCP

heading automatically changes to 320 and the plane continues automatically
current direction. To fly HDG100 I need to change the value agian on MCP.

Same happens on approach - when I am in the final approach stage i should
set HDG to the missed approach heading, whichi s in the chart, so that in
case of MISAPP I just push HDG button and the plane flies when it should.
But no. If the final approach course is, say 250 and MISAPP is 300 I fly 250

on ILS and set 300 for missed. When I do goaround I press HDG button and it

automatically sets the current airplane HDG, which is 250 and I need to
reset 300 again. It drives me crasy a bit.

Is it real? Is it a problem only I have? Is there any setting in INI or
whatsoever to change it?

Well, I can't answer if it was 'real' as the real thing does it, just a
little different.
There is an ini setting to switch this feature off, change the
AutoHDG=On to Off and you are done.
