Hello Guys,

I definitively need some help with SIOC creator.... I passed several hours trying to find a solution to setup a custom MCDU using an USBkey card with no success... SIOC creator is hanging while hitting start configuration.
I have done several re-installation modification in files, but nada.... It worked 2 or 3 times but hang again without modifying anything....

My setup:
Windows 10 Pro
C:\SIOC
C:\A320FMGS
IP:192.168.1.15 - Port 8092
Single usb key connected (trying to make simple for first shot)
Kaspersky KIS (disabled to ensure issue is not coming from there)

Sioc .ini:
Name=MAIN_SIOC
IOCP_port=8092
IOCP_timeout=3500
Minimized=No
Toggle_delay=20
Config_File=C:\SIOC\JeeHellWare.ssi
Vdevices_enable=No
Vdevices_wait=2000
Vdevices_slave=No
Vdevices_host=192.168.1.15
Vdevices_port=8092
Monitor_disable=No
Monitor_time=2
IOCard_disable=No
Divisor_AD=10
FSUipcdisable=No
FSUipcRefresh=50
IOCPini_delay=0
IOCPclient0_disable=Yes
IOCPclient0_host=LOCALHOST
IOCPclient0_port=8099
IOCPclient1_disable=Yes
IOCPclient1_host=LOCALHOST
IOCPclient1_port=8099
Sound_disable=Yes
USBKeys=0,8

JeeHellWare.txt:
Var 1, name key, Link USB_KEYS, Device 0

ConfigUSBkeys.txt:
Var 0001, name key, Link USB_KEYS, Device 0
IOCKeys.ini:
MUSB=No
MUSB=No
deviceUSB=2048
IOCP_host=localhost
IOCP_port=8092
IOCP_timeout=4000
IOCP_Ini_Var=1

In SIOC creator (usbkey card connected):
General tab: Localhost - port 8092 - C:\SIOC\
MCDU tab: use MCDU - On same computer - IDX 0
-> Then apply conf
-> Start configuration
-> Pop up : "Before continuing blablabla close SIOC & IOCKEYS" -> Done & checked
-> Hit "OK" : then soft "HANG" :twisted: and need to kill process

Card is working well in SIOC, FMGS is working with FSX, but cannot get SIOC creator working correctly.... Re-installed on other drives (but similar computer), no succes either....

Any advice ? It would be warmly welcome :D.

Tks,

Marc

you do not need IOCKEYs (and must not run it) on a local computer with an USB key card on a local network. It might be your problem.

Bonjour,

Thanks for your suggestion, I have no IOCKeys.exe on my computer (everything is on local).
How can I check that ? Where should it be installed/configured ?

I just gave a try on another computer and I'm facing similar behaviour ; so I think it is not computer related but more linked to configuration... but from where...

Merci,

Marc

Sorry for late reply.

I cannot think of anything here...
Please make sure again all firewalls and antivirus are disabled.

Hello Marc,

i have now the same problem like you with version B49.2. Is your problem solved? Can you tell me what to do?

Tanks, Timo

I do not believe this is a problem coming from my software, but rather configuration of your PC.
Check you run everything with admin rights, firewall off, antivirus off, etc..

Thanks for your answer. Everything is off and I have full admin rights. I have windows 10. I also have a Radio Panel with opencockpits. This works fine. Only when I will config my mcdu it's going to hang and I must kill the process.

Hello,

Initial I declared the card in main SIOC interface, but something was generating a problem. If jehehell & SIOC re installed, and launching jeehell SIOC config tool it worked without hanging. There was a kind of conflict between SIOC and jeehell tool, I don't what, but it worked...

Cheers

Thank you. I used this thread to get my MCDU working as well. My issue was that SIOC Creator wouldn't run because SIOC was installed in the c:\Programs Files (x86) folder. I removed and installed it into c:\IOCARDS\SIOC and then it worked perfectly.
