Hi everyone.

I have been facing the following problem even before the last beta version of the FMGS.

Right after getting airborne on takeoff the gear retracts on its own. I press nothing. There are no common key assignments regarding the gear between prepar3d and FMGS configuration.

If I select gear up and again gear down the undercarriage stops retracting and returns to the extended position and stays there.

Does anyone else face this problem ? Have you any solution available ?

Thanks beforehand

Γεια σου Παναγιώτη.

I would bet my money on the landing gear lever being up while you taxi and take off. To not have the aircraft fall on the ground if someone accidentally lifts the lever while on the ground, the landing gear computers won't move the gear up until pressure from the main gear struts is relieved and the front gear is centred, both of which would happen immediately after lift off.

Check the landing gear lever position with the new virtual panel or at the SD wheel page, you might have saved a default flight with the lever being up.

PS. The real life gear lever also has a latching mechanism that activates on the ground, physically preventing the lever from moving.
