How to wire a LED Rocker switch

Hi, just need a lil help here to get started.

Bought some LED rocker switches for my Avionics master etc.

How do i wire these on the BU0836x?
Also how do i wire these to arduino to get the LED to light up when 1 is pressed

I can get the switch to work like on and off on the Avionics. But the LED never lights up

Check with supplier for voltage required and polarity.

If this is from an auto supplier the led is in series with the switch and needs 12v. i.e +12 to the terminal probably marked + then a gnd to hopefully the terminal marked gnd. The third terminal then outputs +12v when the switch is on which means you have to put a 12v relay between the switch and the BU0836.
Can you post a picture of the switch particularly the terminal side?

Its 3 solder points marked 1,2,3. Its name KCD03 15a 250v, 20a 125v

Okay that didn't help much. Can't find those numbers anywhere and terminal nos don't help.
Only thing I can think of is testing with a multimeter or a power supply and resistor.

If you have a multimeter with a diode test range try connecting to each of the 3 pairs in turn and swapping the mltimeter leads over for each pair
i.e
+1 -2
-1+2
+2-3
-3+2
+1-3
+3-1
if any of those light the led then you are in business as the multimeter outputs approx 3 volts on the diode range so if it is a low volage led then it will light.The current is restricted in the meter so it won't blow the led. If it does light then whichever terminal has the BLACK lead of the mulimeter connected will be the + voltage connection. Also use the multimeter on ohms range to see which terminals are shorted with the switch in the ON position
If this doesn't work use a 12v power supply with a 500ohm resistor in series with either the + or - and repeat the above test to see if it lights the led.
If this doesn't work it may be the switch has a NEON lamp in it and needs 110v and not an led in which case bin it and buy one with an led.

LATER update search internet fot KCD3 rocker and you can find datasheets. If you can find the numbers which come after kcd3 it will tell you what led/neon is fitted to your switch
