Hi I'm Benjamin.

I been flying scene grade 6. Now I want to get into flight sim a lot more. So I just got the update version of Microsoft Flight Simulator x that on steam. So now I have got back into it. I like to get into the cockpit side but have no idea of where I should start. So I like some idea of where to start and how to build one and what to put into the cockpit. So if any one has any things they use form softwhere to flight inusterm I like to know if you like to share. So i thank everyone that helps and I get to know.

What would you like for an end result? Something like this -

Or something that looks more like a real cockpit. If like a real cockpit, what kind of an aircraft?

More like a real cockpit. I do a lot of long flights in flight simulator x. So I was think the boing 747 cockpit.

If you are building a Boeing 747 I suggest looking at Aerowinx Precision -- Matt has a 747 simulator here in Sydney built on real parts and using Aerowinx which they use for World Flight every year.

Aerowinx provides systems and display panels. You can use either FSX/P3D or Xplane as your scenery generator

Reading this website would be a start. Several vendors sell replicated parts.

How much are you willing to invest - time, money?
