Hello,

i have 3 Pokey interface cards and i like to buy some Sismo or opeencockpits P&P modules. They all advise to use theur interface cards but fi Sismo cards costs as much as all mudules together.
With Opencockpits the cards are cheap but i like the Pokey cards with Prosim737. Is it possible to interface with Pokey, i am not very tchnical in electric. These modules come with a 16 pin cable??

Knows anyone how to connect or is there an other solution without to wire aal the rotaries and switches.

Thanks for thinking with me.

The Pokeys cards are simple to wire, screw terminals allow the connection of various components without solder.

Pokeys cards also support led outputs.

Best Regards.

Hi Geremy,

yes i know that, but what i mean is when you buy a DU panel from opencockpits or Sismo they come with a 16 pin flatcabel. How can you connect them to the Pokey?

Maybe a silly question but when i do not ask i never get it to know.

Thank you for the answer.

Regards,

Frans

if you're buying the P&P modules you don't need any interface cards but you probably don't mean that ?

Hi,

my English is not so good that i can say precise what i mean, i will try again.

When jou want to assemble a Mip there are panels for in the MIP. Like the captain DU, first officer DU and fi the landing gear. Now one can buy the panels itself and the switches, knobs rotary ,s. You can assembly then yourself and wire them to a card that has connection with the pc. Then you activate all in prosim.

Well, i do not know anything about the wiring and i think i never learn so i have a look if there are panels that do not need assembling. Sismo solutions and Opencocpits have such panels but they are wired with a flatcabel to their own interface boards.

These interface boards cost more than all the panels together. FI Sismo has boards only fot the MIP and the are about 1000 euro. So this is not an option for me.

I was thinking when i buy some Pokey cards which are easy to setup in Prosim and could connect them with the Pokey cards is cost less and i do not have to assemble the panels with all the rotary 's and potmeters and switches.

Thats why my question is, is this possible, to connect a device(a ready assembled panel)with a 16 pole flat cable in a way so it fits on Pokey cards.

Same could be for the pedestal.

I hope now my question is better to understand.

Thanks for the patience.

Regards,

Frans
