Always been into sims since the early days on M$98 and the Atari. Wife bought me a couple of hours in a full sim for my 60th Birthday so now its all go to build one. Am using PMDG737 usually. Been following the arduino threads and a lot of thanks must go to Jim and Mike for solving a lot of the issues.

Hello, Welcome to the forum, great to have someone local, I'm sure everyone here will be helpful should you need any pointers, also the search tool is very helpful to assist with browsing through past threads to help you get started.

Best regards

P.S I wonder if your flying voucher was at Flightdeck Experience?

Hi Geremy, thanks for the welcome. As I said in my intro, I've been into flight sims since the early days. My flight voucher was with Virtual-Aerospace in Northampton. It was after this that I decided to have a go at building some form of Sim. I'm (was) an electronics engineer by trade with a bit of programming experience. I'm using the PMDG737. Its very much at the early stage of exploring how to connect things together and make lights etc to work. I've learnt a lot already thanks to these forums and the post of others such as Jim, Mike and Fess.
