Does anyone have any recommendations? Should I use a PC based Power Supply or a wall based Power Supply?
What do you all use to power the card?
Thanks
Use a spare +5V from your Sioc PC's power supply.

Thanks Nico!
I read somewhere that we don't need to power the MasterCard as it gets 5v from the USB port
That's only true if you have assigned a few switches, not if you are adding digits and leds.

I have searched through every electronics store in my area, but I have been unable to find a supply cable with a two pin connector that matches the card's power supply port. Do any of you know a specific name for the connector used?
On an unrelated note, there also appears to be one on the USB Axes Card as well. Does it need a power supply to work or is that just for lighted switches?

Good to know. Now, since I have a bunch of usb cables lying around, I was wondering if I could cut them and solder their 5v and GND leads to the wires you just brought up, then plug them into my SIOC PC's USB Port?
Avro748,
Here is what you want. Best to use a polarized plug. Otherwise very easy in the heat of the moment to plug
single pins on to incorrect terminals and your pcb will be toast.

P.S Not advisable to use USB port for 5v. Very limited current and if you should reach
the limit the funny things can start happening with your USB connected devices.
Go down the path Nico suggested.

Thanks Les, that'll definitely come in handy.

Does that mean I should solder the Output Card's power supply leads to the 5v and GND leads of the PC's supply cable?

Indeed, using 2 of the 4 wires. But do not solder directly, use a MOLEX connector.

Okay, seems simple enough. However, just to make sure I don't fry my card, could you send me a picture of your setup if it's not too much trouble?
Thanks
EDIT: Here's what I'm picturing, am I correct?

Strange picture...
Use a spare cable with a molex of your PC's powersupply and connect your two wires coming from your oc card to another molex connector of the opposite sex using just the red and black wires and then plug the two molex connectors together.

Oh, good thing I checked. Seems simple enough. I'll try it out.
