Took latest update for a flight today. EKCH-EGKK.
Worked very well.
A few disconnects on 8004, but reconnected immediately.
Good responsiveness.

A GREAT flight!!! Now with taxi lights. :-)

Hi
Also had the problem with I / O error 32 on client PC after the update.
Tomasz FS cockpit had helped me.
And my display from the MCDU showed in some settings display problem.
so he had installed me a new updat of the module MCDU, who was too old.
and JH had completely re-install no update, only after a new installation Updat was made, then it worked.
Have been very many companies know, but the service of FC cockpit eu is unique.
he takes time for his customers. very very good.

Hello

For those having hardware Connect crashes with Skalarki or FSCockpit hardware:
It seems there is a port conflict between their DLL interface and WideFMGS on port 8007.
I suggest you all try to change the port5 to 8002 (instead of 8007) on all your computer.
You can do that either during installation, or running the "configure.exe" file found in the FMGS root folder on each of your computer.

JL

You can always change it cannot hurt...
It may also be unrelated, I'm not sure how this bug arises exactly yet.

A couple of observations from a recent flight out of heathrow.
1. The seatbelt sign, set in auto, switches off around 1000ft agl
2. I had a problem with managed climb on the Sid (dep 27R DVR5F) during the initial turn, the aircraft speed exceeded 300kts before the throttle rolled back to idle and the nose began to drop (in an effort to control the speed, my VS hit 5200fpm). Once the auto throttle cut in, it's all returned to normal.

Latest update -- No superimposed terrain data onto the ND when ADIRS is switched off seems to be fixed.
Thank you.

A few minor observations
1. At Flaps full -- flap sound continues to loop
2. T.O memo on ECAM still appears after landing
3. Waypoints -- for 2 points that require the aircraft to 'loop' around, there is not a clear NAV pathway, jumps to the left and right prior to the point. Hard to explain, I will try and take a screenshot next time this shows up.

Any possibility of integrating the CPDLC server module into the Jeehell server.exe?

Thank you for the quick update and fixes JL.

Just reflown the departure, and no fault. So I'm chalking this one up to user error. :)

however, the seatbelt sign went off at 800agl and the the no smoking sign, which was set to in, not auto. Weird.

Any possibility of integrating the CPDLC server module into the Jeehell server.exe?

I don't know if that would be a good idea. Many functions of the CPDLC server are independant of the JL software, so they are maintained only by Chris and he can provide updates as it is needed. I also don't see the necessity, I have built the CPDLC server startup into my PC startup sequence, and it's working fine that way.

Not too sure why, but now FMGS fails to completely start up

Here is a video of the issue --

This is when I first start FMGS, and try and turn on ext power. Flashing ND/PFD/EICAM also happens with APU turned on.

hi jl,
since latest update i don't have any trim wheels motion (skalarki hardware which was working before) i checked on SD f-ctl page and the trim values remained at 0.0 for the entire flight...it was changing values before.
btw the autotrim seemed to work because i hand flew circuits very well there is just no trim value changing.
do u confirm this?

....had my first hardwareconnect crash today...just restarted it...
i cannot change port5 to 8002 because that port is used by widefs and since i'm a nerd in port communication just left it at 8007...any other value we can safely try?

all the best

You have almost every ports between 1 and 65535, that's a lot of ports to try...
You could opt for ports below 8000 or for the 9000 range as well...

The triple brake only work when in ALTN BRK mode (green HYD LO PR). In normal conditions, you only have the ACCU PRESS at the max.

JL

filippoporcari

ok for the ports thx...told u i'm a nerd at that!

about brakes: i know its logic jl :-) the point is that with engines not running (green system not pressurized) when u set parking brakes the L and R indicator should indicate max...it was working before...not now.

what about trim indication?

If one is using WideClient, e.g. to run TopCat on a separate PC, I suggest not to use port 8002 (instead of 8007) as this is used by WideFS of FSUIPC by default (and it also uses 9002).

I changed the port 8007 to 8107 for the time being. A 1st short flight is looking good. But more testing is required.

Adrian

buentead
10-12-2014, 12:37 PM
@fil: Yes, it might well be. When I used port 8002 first and started WideFMGS client, the WideFS server was reporting "connected and then waiting for client" continuously.

@JL: With port set to 8107 (instead of 8007) the HardwareConnect crashed again. Please find attached the event log. I used the latest updates from your server (I assume it's 35.7).

Thanks

Stefan, in case you are using WideFS Server from FSUIPC you may not use 8002 as this is the default port. I used 8107 instead. Nevertheless, my HardwareConnect also crashed.

Quick but report from tonight's flight. I flew from eddh to Egll. Two things I noticed.

1. I just don't see traffic displayed despite tcas being on.
2. Approaching heathrow's 27R on lam3a star, I selected 'loc' on the fcu. The aircraft immidately began banking to the right to intercept the localiser, but continued to beyond 90°. I only managed to save the aircraft by taking control. I'll retest tomorrow to confirm the issue.

My my only other gripe is getting to grips with the flight controls. Often on approach the aircraft feels slow to respond in P3D. In fsx if anything it feels like it's twitchy and easy to over correct. I'm guessing it's a personal thing and I need to get use to it. Either way, this is a fantastic piece of software Jean Luc

florian that should be a local issue: on my system i have all the desired infos (vors, ndbs, apts) on NDs...i manually put the NAVRECORD.dat file in navdata folders on the clients as suggested by jl.

JL: making some circuits today at LIRF, takeoff and landing on 34L on the PFD the ils appeared correctly tuned and identified but both glide and loc diamonds did not move just stay there on one side of the scale.
where could this come from? scenery? or data sending? never experienced this in the past...

Hi Fil,

so this is strange, because i´m not the only one with this small issue. A buddy got the same problem.

You have to put the NAVRECORD.dat file in this folder on a client PC? I thought it comes only to this folder on the Server PC, because this is done on my machine.
If you have to do it now, so it's new for me... but i will try in the next time. The strange thing in this fall is, that it´s works before the update...
