Missing announcements and callouts - B34

Hi everybody,

I have sound problems after installing B34 with all updates. I fly on full cockpit with FScockpit hardware, running FMGS server, P3Dv2.2 and OVHD on main PC and displays, pedestal and sound module with separate speakers on remote PC.
Sound module is connected to the server after start.

I can hear APU/ENG fire test sound, CVR test sound, AP dissconnect sound (but another pattern than in previous version???), but I do not hear altitude callouts and "retard, retard" anymore.

In B33 all was working propery.

Do you have any idea, what could be wrong?

I think I reduced the detection threshold too much in the latest version, particularly when the sound module is on a remote computer. I'll try to increase it again.

Hi JL,

thanks for updates, I installed them today, but my problem with sound still remains, whats more I do not hear the initial bell when sound module is connected, but I hear it repeatedly during startup and flight. It is connected with short disconnetion/blinking of all displays, pedestal and glareshield modules - all connected to the remote PC where the sound module is located.

Do you have any idea about it?

Hi JL,

yes, off course. I use 2 PCs only at this time. The sound module is working on the remote one, where the all glareshield panels, displays and pedestal are connected. The B33 version was working normally in this way at the same setting.

Hi,

is there any news on that. Because i am facing the same problem. Since one of the last updates, i have no callouts anymore, no matter if i use the sound module on the fsx computer or the remote one.

I have the same issue. No more call outs. Also no sound when I toggle the seat belt switch. Even the test button for the fire alarm has no sound.
