Ok guys I'm not really good a wood working and reading plans so I was wondering if anyone had a guide on how to build a MIP stand? It doesn't matter what kind of a plane its for I just need to get some ideas on how to do it for my 777 home cockpit IE getting the MIP to sit at the proper 15 degree angle ect. I already have the MIP found an old FDS mip for $100 on the net.

Thanks David.

I was also thinking of cutting wood to create the MIP but also considering finding a cnc company to cut me be the necessary frame to provide a more professional look.

would utilizing a cnc company be expensive?

Take a look at pandasimulations Jorge is a super nice guy and he sells a great looking 737ng MIP for$600 I think. Its FDS quality for half the money

The pandasimulation MIP doesn't include a support frame/stand which is what the OP is asking for.

Earlier on I posted my idea of a 737 stand on my blog.
Should be easy to understand.
Take a look here: http://buildaboeing.wordpress.com/2013/04/15/mip-panel/

It is for the 737, but it will give you an idea of how to scale up to the 777.
