Hi All,

I have just started to upload some GA photo's to a photo blog. I have been a member of my flying club for a while now and decided to put all my flying pics in one place which makes total sense to me. Will be uploading more in upcoming days, uploaded about 200+ so far.

Feel free to take a look and upload your own GA flying pictures if you wish.

Thank you to all those that have looked at my pictures, I have had over 3000 views since I started the photo blog and due to the interest I will keep posting the pictures. My next flight is this Saturday and is a two hour return trip to Norfolk in the club's Cessna 172 (in fact there are a total of 8 aircraft going) so I will definitely take some photos there and back. I have another flight scheduled in a fortnight but I am not too sure where we are going as of yet but it will probably be in the PA28 for a return flight somewhere and will be about 120nm-ish! Will keep you posted!

SOUTHEND > OLD BUCKENHAM > SOUTHEND > THEN LOCAL AGAIN - 18TH JANUARY

Completed about 2.5 hrs of flying today. Took off from Southend and flew to Old Buckenham in Norfolk. Going there was very quick with quite a strong tail wind almost pushing us there with a ground speed of over 140mph in our Cessna 172. We reached just over 4000ft which is the highest ive flown as I mainly fly low and slow. There was a bit of a crosswind on landing but nothing too off the track. Going back took about an hour-ish with a very strong headwind, but the flight was smooth and we landed no probs at all. When we landed, the pilot decided that there was still a good few hours of daylight left and wanted to fly again, so we took the C152 up for some fun flying around the reservoirs and done some steep turns. In total 3 flights over 2.5hrs. Total flying this month 5 hours, not bad at all.

C152 Flight Video uploaded too!

Next Club Flyout is Calais in France but I am flying locally too on 31st Jan in the PA28!

SOUTHEND LOCAL FLIGHT

Finally got a day off at the airport and on a day of a club flyout. Intention was to fly to Panshangar and then to Stow Maries, but the weather got the worst of us really, fog up in Luton would give us <3000 meters of visibility which is a no go. Local visibility was about 5000> meters so flying localy was the best option and flew back to Southend.

A Quick Trip To Thurrock Airfield In PA28...

SOUTHEND > THURROCK > SOUTHEND

A quick flight to a maintenance company in a very private airfield not too far from us. The PA28's strobe light switch needed replacing so I went for a flight to the airfield that fixed it. More airtime is good!

Flight to Seething Airfield near Lowestoft

SOUTHEND > SEETHING > SOUTHEND

I flew to Seething airfield today from Southend. We were supposed to be flying to Bembridge in the Isle Of White, but the weather was a bit mucky down South so we flew East which had a lot better visibility and great VFR conditions. I took off from Runway 06 at Southend via taxi way Charlie and climbed, then turning South towards the Estuary and climbed to 1100ft. When were about 5 miles out, we decided that the route was a no go due to layers of thick cloud and poor viz so headed back to Southend, flying over headed towards the East and landed runway 06 at Seething. After a cuppa, my mate Jack flew us back! Total flying time 2 hours! A nice tail wind got us home quicker :)
