For anyone out there having as much trouble as me trying to figure out the correct field of view for the forward screen I have attached the following picture.
I have a multi-monitor setup using WV and found that when I configured the forward view on the centerline of the aircraft, the aircraft did not 'feel' (look) right and what made it worse there was a 'drifting to the left/right feeling with the other monitors were configured (forward monitor view '0', left monitor view: -22.5 degrees, right monitor +22.5 degrees etc etc).
So...when I went to work yesterday I brought my camera with me and took a picture of what the real world view should look like when positioned in the left seat. As you can see just about the entire runway number is in the window, but my nosewheel of dead center on the line. (Basically if you line up the clock in the dash with the centerline, lead in line etc...you are in the 'middle' of where you want to be).
When i got home after work that night, i took my visual setup down and started from scratch...positioning the forward view as per the picture, then assembled my views to the left and right accordingly.
It works and feels perfect now!
