View Full Version : GLASS COCKPIT BUILD

Hi Everybody.

I am in the process of building a 737 cockpit which is a big challenge for me as up until now, I have only flown the Twin Otter using default gauges supplied.
I have looked on line for downloadable panels, but it is a bit of a minefield! 'Magenta' is very expensive, and I am not sure where to look? I am on a low budget, but want the cockpit to look as authentic as possible. Does anybody know where I can obtain gauges etc to make up a 'glass cockpit' style presentation - free or paid? I would need of course to be able to place these on the desired monitors - not sure how this works?

Hoping somebody can help me here.

Thanks.

Prosim 737 is an alternative one but also not cheap. Try FreeFD (freeware) or FSXpand (Payware)

You also can take away from the iFly 737 or PMDG 737 as a base for a HC or the iFly Cockpitbuilder version

Downloads - FreeFD (http://www.weitling.info/projectb737/index.php/file-library/viewcategory/12-freefd)

ProSim737 (http://prosim737.com/?gclid=CISYnIfQ_rQCFcq-zAodehIA4A)

simMarket: FLYWARE - FSXPAND 6.1 BASIC (BOXED) (http://secure.simmarket.com/flyware-fsxpand-basic-(boxed)-(de_5682).phtml)

Here an update of FreeFD which I have found on my old HD.
