Outside view

I'm starting to build a cockpit. For now I want to use one projector for my outside view until I can add more.

1st: I need the view to be centered in the cockpit, not just captains side view so that both seats will see the proper FOV.

2nd: I would like to remove the cockpit itself so it's just the outside.

Easy. Just open a new view, set it to the 2d panel view, hide the panel, undock the view, and drag it to the projector view. Re-size it to fit. The 2d panel, unlike the Virtual Cockpit, is simply a view of the outside with the panel superimposed onto it. adjusting it's size will help you center it.
