Hi guys!

Haven't posted for a long time but i am currently working on a C172N, i have found a real c172 fusolage and refurbishing it. Know i am working on the mip(which i am trying to make as vintage looking as possible!) but i am having a lot of trouble in finding the dimensions for the throttle and mixture knob, i intend to mill them on the lathe and i have a good idea about the shape but have no idea about how long they are longitudinally and how wide they are.

Hope you can help!
James

My knobs are from a 210 but should be very similiar. I can get you measurements on those if you want.

Would this be useful?

These are called Vernier Controls. Dimensions for the image below is in Inches BTW.

Drawing of the 3 controls. This image resolution is set to print.

You will note:
- Throttle has a friction lock (small metal disk just behind the knob itself)
- Others will increase or decrease fractionally when turned. There is a locking push button on these controls to allow you to move the control quicker. Button releases the friction brake on the control.

@AK Mongo, i'm pretty sure they are like the ones i am looking for so if you could be so kind to measure them you'd make me really happy!

Thanks Ronson the 275 inch part (the knob)is what i am interested in.
