Hello guys i was wondering if those of you who are working on a 737ng fldeck can provide some info on the overhead products that you are using and why you pick the one you have . since nothing comes at low cost in this hobby i would like to get as much info as posible before i burn the first hole in my card. i had visit a few sites but its a bit confusing for me because of the layout of some sites im not sure im ordering the complete overhead or just a bag with some buttons. thanks alot in advance.

Hi rtodepart,

I think there is another very similar thread out there, but basically, you have two choices: Complete Overhead (plug n play) or a Kit (A complete kit for the same brand, or mixed one)

Cockpitsonic, opencockpits, poldragonet, sismo, fds, etc. all of them have fully assembly (and Plug and play) overheads, but they cost losts of $, but are the easy to install.

Some of them also sold just the panels, and then you have to choice and work with the electronic and gauges. Its more cheaper (sometimes not so much) but requires patience and more knowledge, of course.

I've recently finished my overhead panel with this combination: Poldragonet panels and hardware (the cheapest I can find), Opencockpits gauges (again the cheapest one), and Flight deck solutions boards (not the cheapest, but the easiest).
