Hi everyone,

I am trying to find out a cheap and good way to make the switches and sixpack in the glarewings. Does anyone know a good tutorial for it? I dont know what switches i need. I have the 737MIP board and the Prosim software so it needs to be compatible with it.
I have seen them at Simworld and Flyengravity but that will costs me €400,- for Mastercaution, Warning switch and the sixpack at both sides.
Hope to see some ideas!

Regards,

Corné

Hi corne,

I got mine from FDS in canada, 60 CAD for sixpack + Master + Fire warning. another 60 fro shipping per Royal Canadian Mail and then ofcourse 20% VAT on top, but if you buy some other stuff this evens out. Plus the quality is superb. Making this youself may be a little bit cheaper but still this is a lot cheaper then Engravity or Sismo...

cheers,
dion

Hi Dion,

I will make the Annunciators and sixpack myself. It will still saves me a lot of money!
I have ordered some pushbuttons at www.conrad.nl for AFDS, the Fire Warning and Master Caution switch. I have the sixpack from Opencockpits.
No i am looking for an option to make the Recall working in my MDF made glarewing! Does anyone have a good solution for it?

For the Master Caution and the Fire Warning I designed a mechanism but didn't start building it or even try it. I don't know if it works but here is a drawing: http://x737cockpit.files.wordpress.com/2011/08/scan0001.pdf You gotta put the little Panel with the text onto a plexi cube, drill 2 holes in that cube put leds in these holes. Then you need to mount it on a little stick that is fixed at the back and has a spring on it (in the inside) Then you need to mount a mini button behind it so everytime you press it the stick goes out to the button. I hope you understand

Corne, look at my thread (search for: transavia cockpit) to see how I made them using push buttons from Conrad, the lamps inside the buttons are 24v but I modified them to hold a LED

Hi Capetonian,

I have allready fixed it (see pictures in this thread)!! I also got them from conrad! I just have put a pushbutton behind the sixpack plate for the recall function!
