Hi everybody,

I am painting my cockpit once more and I am not sure if this is the correct colour for the grey on the MIP and the Overhead Panels (this will be coated white acrylic glas) (RAL7011) http://www.amazon.de/LaRuta-Liter-Fertigfarbe-RAL7011-Eisengrau/dp/B004LLO9LA/ref=sr_1_19?ie=UTF8&qid=1308768106&sr=8-19

Is this the right colour for the FMC/CDU Bay? http://www.amazon.de/FLIESENLACK-GLÄNZEND-CREMEWEISS-Wilckens-Fliesenfarbe/dp/B001CDU4UK/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1308768588&sr=1-5

What is the code for the white Overhead Panels?

Marc

BTW: Is it better to spray-paint or paint the Cockpit?

BTW2: Everything is be pre painted in some grey and white basic "Abtönfarbe"

Hello Marc,

I looked for time ago and found that RAL 7011 is for dark grey panels and 7038 for lighter grey panels (also RAL 7035 for ligther grey instead of 7038).

so is the 35 for the Overhead Panels in "white" ? or is the 35 the lines on those panels?

Hi,

RAL 7038 is used for "white" panels in OVH -> it is a very light grey and it is not used for the lines.

RAL 7035 is just very similar as substitute.

cheers,
