Today I received the GNS530 GPS and Gauge Rings manufactured by Steve Masters. The quality of the products are awesome. The GPS looks amazing, the configuration is very simple, and the functionality added to the simulator is great!. I highly recommend to buy the unit instead to build by yourself, because the quality added by emuteq with his expertise has great value, and its simply noted when you use the GPS. You plug in, configure, and use. NO problems presented, and also the support by Steve is excellent and fast.
Also, I recommend to talk with Steve to built the gauge rings, because its simply the best solution if you want to make a MIP with high quality and add the capability to use encoders with PM reflected on LCD. I tried with everything, Party Glass cups, Plastic rings, PVC rings, and nothing look better and fits precisely like gauge rings made by Steve. With this 2 products I accelerate my buiding times and gain excellent termination of my MIP.
TIP: you can combine shipping for GNS530 and extra Leo Bodnarīs BUX0836 Boards!
Please check the attachments for pictures. I will keep you posted with MIP building stages. Now I have all the components to start buiding my Simpit.

Regards.
Fabrizio

For the Garsim530 there is http://www.emuteq.com/

First I've heard of the gauge rings. They look sweet though. Mine are partially concealed behind the panel or I would definitely get them. I have a panel in front of a panel for my 185 simulating the shroud / glare shielding over the instruments present in the 185. Steve's certainly look high quality though.

Thanks Ronson2k9. Nice little gadget there. I wonder if he'll just sell the screen? :D

Any pics of your 185 setup?

Woah. I had no clue that place existed. :) The panel resolution is pretty low (640x480), but it could be useful in a number of places... Thanks!
