Hi i do have a question about the USBexpansion card.
there are pin J7 to J10 which are for poteniometers. Which of the 3 pin's is the negative.
and if using potentiometers do I need a power supply or not?
regards,
henri

hi Henri,

Taken from the USB expansion manual, d/l from o/c i/o cards section.

J7, J8, J9 and J10 connectors: These are used to connect analog inputs (10 K linear
potentiometers). In the IOCards software we’ll define how many of these inputs we are
using. Pin #1 (left side, GND) is connected to any of the potentiometer pins except the
center one, pin #2 (center) which is connected to the center pin on the potentiometer. Pin
#3 (right side, +5 V DC) is connected to the last pin on the potentiometer.

If all you are going to drive off the M/C -Exp is pots and switches then p/s not required but still a good idea to do so especially if you are going to drive leds from m/c.
Hope this helps.

P.S d/l the manual i suggested,very helpful.
