Hi Ya'll -

I'm not near the point of any of you excellent cockpit builders, but I finished up my "living room" simulator last night and thought i would share a picture. I have a small studio and don't have space to commit to a desk or cockpit set-up at the moment, so wanted to take advantage of the 52" high-end TV i have in my living area. I'll work my way up to something more elaborate when i have more space, but could definately use some more switches and a wireless headset to make things more realistic.

All essential elements of cockpit building there: yoke, rudders, controls, great outside visuals, a comfortable pilot seat. I sometimes wish I had a (second) setup like this, because you´re free choosing your aircraft. Bush-flying in a Cessna over Alaska, or VFR-riding on top of some mountains at sightseeing speed is ridiculous when I am sitting in a closed 737 shell, hehe.

Enjoy your plane, it´s sure fun flying it.

Nice setup. Do you know what it's missing though...a can of beer at your side. :p One of the many advantages of flight simming! Many times my circuits have been getting progressively worse throughout the night after sinking half a bottle of wine!

Love that 52" TV.

Cheers
