I have yet to connect it basically because I have no clue what type of power is needed to work both the LED'S and switches. As always when you get something from Pol NO instructions come with the merchandise, and they won't return emails. I hoping that someone who uses this site can clue me in on how to wire this thing up. Always a BIG THANKS Dave

Hi Dave,

If it is like mine it was shipped configured to plug into the other Poldragonet units. Mine uses a ribbon cable that plugs into the MCP.
I'm in the process of switching over to OC interfaces and this was a unit I would be looking at sorting in the near future, for the others I have had to test the inputs of the ribbon cables by electrical meter and putting the probes on each individual connection and pressing the buttons / putting a charge down each cable to identify what each one relates to. Normally common was cable 10, mine has 20 cables on the 6 pack so may be the 1st 10 are for the buttons and the 2nd 10 for the Led's maybe...
Sorry I can't be more specific at this stage but its still on my 'to do' list...
Cheers
Mike

There is no seperate package, when you purchase the glareshield package it comes already built in, but you can't just buy it seperately. It really looks good,,pc board with a 10 pin connector, all put together, but NO instructions on wiring it up. Regards Dave

Ah, in that case you will have to work out the pin connections by testing and use another interface card e.g. Opencockpits Mastercard... Hopefully I will get chance to test mine this week and let you know what the pins are you need to read / power...
Cheers

Hi Dave,

Managed to test the 6 pack tonight and (depending on which way round you look at it / have the cable connected) the right hand 6 pack cable pins are as follows:
1 = Eng
2 = Anti Ice
3 = OH
4 = Hyd
5 = Doors
6 = A/c
7 = Master
8 = Fire
9 = Led Gnd/Common
11 = Master Key
12 = AI/ENG/HYD etc. key
13 = Key Gnd/common
14 = Fire Key

You can therefore connect these pins / cables to your interface card of choice...

The left hand side should be the same but with the appropriate LED labels changed.

Cheers
Mike
