Hey guys!

Just an update from a swedish 737NG builder...

Finally the mip is beggining to take shape and
most of its indicators and switches are now working.
Feels great to be back in the game again!

I recently bought the mip-card and a projector so for the first time
i can start to use the sim for real=)
Its like many builders say in here...you have to combine building
and flying or else you might lose interest.Well dont think
my passion for flying would cool of but what the heck!
Got to get that freekin thing flying already hehe.

As for now i will finish wireing up rest of the mip, after that i will
get some help of my friend networking my second pc to use
for eicas and cdu.

More to come...

Its time for me to make another update, during the week my ledlight strips
from ebay arrived so ive been busy backlighting the mip.
I didnt buy everything i need at once cause i wanted to see if
it held up to my expectations,but...

It did!i was very satisfied with the result of the leds so another
order will be sent soon...thank you ebay!

Also got my usb/vga adapter i ordered a few days ago so atlast
i got my eicas screen installed also. The usb/vga adapter is an awesome divice
so im planing to purchase another one, very good indeed.

So here`s the result of the work ive done during the week.

Have a nice weekend eveyone!

Hi all!

Recorded som clips with my cam and put it on youtube.Mind the bad quality
and bad filming.
Clips are taken on finals to Landvetter(ESGG runway.21) and Arlanda(ESSA runway.01L)

Looks nice. Maybe you should just put your camera on a tripod.

Mind my displays, some tuning and settings will be done...
Also my eicas screen is a tempoary sollution, having a 17" behind
the center section now...little big though. Will change to a 15" when i find one.
Looks nice. Maybe you should just put your camera on a tripod.

534653445345Hi guy's!

It's been awhile since my last cockpit update but sometimes
i just can't deicide witch way to go or what manufacturer
to buy from. All companys(almost) seem to aim high when it
comes to quality, but have to admit that price was one of the big
issues in the end.

Anyway, last week my overhead from Poldragonet arrived and can't be
more happy with this.Really nice quality...thick subpanels with
very smooth and detailed toppanels:)

Here's some pictures showing the first set of switches mounted.

Happy midsummer!/Lennart

Hehe thanks!Yeah this journey is going too take quite sometime but
i will enjoy this for sure.Just one week from my summer vacation
so it arrived just in time:)
Another good thing is that im moving to a house so now i
can outlive my dream and build a enclosed simulator.

Anyway, i have followed your project and have to say it's coming along
really nice, would be cool to see that puppy in real life sometime.

You're welcome to come over anytime my friend..! XD

By the way.. What software are you running on your sim? Project Magenta? ProSim? I see your First Officer PFD and ND are running in clone mode with the CPT side, so I'm thinking that while you already have enough graphics cards to run the screens in the MIP, why haven't you set up the FO side?

Never been to Norway, maybe i drive up there to check it out:)

Im runnin my sim on one computer that's why i choose the vga-spliter for capt/fo displays. But after finding a usb-vga graphics card this won't be a problem anymore.

I have tried a couple of avionics suit's but ended up with Prosim, with the simple fact that it's
very user friendly.Im terrible with computers.I was one 1 click" away from ordering
the complete"flightdeck software" suit when i stumbled over Prosim, you can't imagine how
glad i was discovering this fine suit.
So there you have it...It's all Prosim for me.
