Hi All,

I ran a C172 simkits simulator very well on two PC's using WideView.

I plan to build a 737 Sim with 3 screens for the forward view.
Was thinking of the ATI 5000 card with three monitors off it.
Second PC with another ATI Card running PFD and EICAS and an FMC screen output.
See diagram.....

#1 Will this work?
#2 Is there a better more cost effective way? (Matrox Triplehead2go ???)

Thanks and regards Simon

Hi,

Depends on what you want to do at the end....

If you want a full 737 cockpit at the end of the day, then you are in the right track. 2 PCs are more than enough in my personal opinion, if you organise in advance the specs of both PCs.

In fact you can have a 737 home cockpit with only one PC, given that you will minimize few requirements. I have done this with a single dual core/4 GBs PC, see my thread in my signature below.

So actually in my personal opinion, yes two PCs are more than enough ;)
