Hey guys, i thought i would share this with you, a completely new concept has been brought into the sim world by aerosoft. I think its quite good really, but very funny :p So, here is the concept.
You buy a scenery package from aerosoft, called Andras Field. Its a fictional airport with an airpark also. Then, if you really like the area, and feel you would like to fit in with the neigbourhood, then you can! You can buy a virtual plot, where a house and aircraft garage will be built for you. And you will be involved in future developments of the scenery. If you think there should be a new taxiway built, tell the community, and it may well be built! You will have your own name in front of the property you own, and everybody else will see your aircraft parked there.
The airport has a 5000' runway for all of you heavy flyers, a grass glider strip, and a water strip aswell! It is situated in the alps, near austria.
I think its a great idea, and will bring new excitement into the simming world. Who knows, maybe more of these will crop up around the world!
Anyway, heres the website for Andras Field. Unfortunately, due to some advanced scenery thingys, dont ask me, it can only be used on FSX, so i wont be using it for a while :( Oh well, have a look, its worth it!
