Just returned from my vacation in the UK. Was a wonderful time in the southwest. Flew Speedbird, and it paid...
Made some pics of...
...a Qantas A380 at Heathrow

...the flightdeck of the A319:

The captain was so kind to provide me with the flightplan, which I scanned for you:

Interesting to see the Arrival notifications at Frankfurt, the CI being 20, the MEL indication of the "broken" windshield unusable for flight in icing conditions. BTW: Can someone explain exactly, what they are? When you pinch through clouds at FL 150 with OAT of -16 degrees C, isnīt that icing conditions?

And at last:
Was proud to sit on the left side ;-)

But donīt you think Iīll start building an :twisted:Airbus:twisted: homecockpit...
...or maybe?
Well, when I asked the cap that I was building a 738 and was unfamiliar with the airbus he said "neither am I":mrgreen::mrgreen:

What a fantastic experience chris! You've seen everything seems like a great visit. Did you manage to visit and flight sims whilst you were here? :)

No Geremy, unfortunately, but it was a holiday together and for my family, and they are not interested in flight sims. So we visited some of the wonderful gardens and some castles and stonehenge, and we were so lucky with the weather. Maybe some day, I will manage to come back and visit some of you english chaps and your sims.
