Hi,

I'm looking for fellow PM users (Boeing suit) to compare findings on the intercept feature. Compared to FMC manuals and other FMC software the PM FMC seems to be limited in it's function but I'd like to know if other user experience the same thing. As far as I can tell the FMC is only able to go directly to a way point but canot intercept a leg at a certain point. I'm running some tests in order to evaluate and look for work arounds. If you are interested, drop me a pm.

Regards,
JWS

There are so many things PM misses in FMC . Examples : 1) Hold at PPOS ( present position) . 2) In FMC after you have inserted Departure and Perf Init , these pages should not appear in TAKE OFF page anymore .
3) ENG OUT page should be part of CRZ page and not only of CLB . In ENG OUT page instead of CRZ ALT an ALT CAPABILITY ( ALTITUDE CAPABILITY) should appear over tgt speed.

FC Thanks, Farrokh747, thatīs a good thing. Alt capability should be next , being very important when loosing a engine. Iīdont know if you guys have any way of showing Enrico how this is presented in ENG OUT PAGE. Iīm trying to get a photo of real aircraft fmc showing this.
best regards

Yes it seems that with the latest builts (010910) a lot of effort has been put into the CDU.

I'll try to find time to explore all the changes but it seems that the intercept function now works properly (though in appearance & procedure not yet as it should be). And the HOLD function is improved (PPOS plus different kind of entries!).

Also the disappearing RTE should be fixed.
