fsvariable problems

hello to all
after a long time i am know starting again with phigets to interface as know i have PM
and will do all interfacing with phidgets

i whant to interface engine start switches and parking brakes and so on i dont have PM over head softwere yet!!!!

only captins side
i had started with fsphidgets5 and had maneged to get it working ok
know after so long i notict that there are lots of updates
i updated to 5.0.15 but when i go to

tools

manage varaible

i get an error,i continiue but when i go to load fsfile
nothing loads like there is no fs file

i have the last update of fsuipc

also i can not down load 5.0.16 , 5.0.17, 5.0.18

have missed a step???
