Hello from Barstow California!

I have my ADI Atitude indicator built and I'm trying in integrate the offset 2F78, Atitude Indicator Bank. I can use FS-Interrogate2std and view the proper data stream from FSX and it reads it as a FLOAT64. My question is how do I setup my FS2Phidget channel parameters to read offset 2F78 FLOAT64?
FS-Interrogate2std reads 2F78 data as full Left ~ -90 and Right ~ 90.

Thanks in advance - Gary

Gary,

What is length of that offset?

Gary,

What version of Fs2Phidget are you planning on using? 4 or 5?

There are no channel parameters in FS2Phidget.
I am neither familiar with FSX nor Simconnect integration terminology.

I looked up length of offset in FSUIPC documentation.
Is 8 long.
FLOAT64 is an archaic Microsoft term.

What Phidgets did you use to build ADI? Servos? Advanced servos?

Alan

Hi Alan, I bought an instrunemt with the inverter and modified it. I don't know what happened with my previous problem, but after I rebooted I was ablr to read the 2F78 offset without problems. I'm using FS2P v5.019.

Hey, can FS2P be made to read or write to LVars? I have a Bell 212 that I can't find an offset for, but I have the L variable. Attached it a photo of my ADI.

Alan, I just used 3 micro servos. Do some have better resolution than others? Do you use Advanced Servos?

Gary,

What is an L Variable?
I hunted thru FSUIPC documentation.

I was referring the Phidget AdvancedServo.
This is the Phidget card, not the actual servos.
I use micro servos.

Hi Alan,

Lvars are variables used within an aircraft mainley in the panel.
For instance: "L: battery" is the LVar for the Battery voltage, for the Bell 212 helicopter I'm using. Yes FSX has all the offsets we all use but I guess the Lvar are user defined. The reason I was asking in there is an Lvar for a parameter I want to use but I couldn't find an offset.

Gary,
FSUIPC2Phidgets works with FSUIPC offsets.
No offset, no can help.
