Can someone tell me what color backlighting is used on the A320 panels? I have never seen any in person and am curious. Also, what are your thoughts on deviating from the real-world backlight color? I have tried white, warm white, orange, and blue.... to be honest the orange looks great but I love the blue...

Hey!

It's been a busy weekend, no time for cockpit!! :( If you PM me your address I will ship a board for testing. By the time you get it I should have a couple more functions added to the software. I really need to get it in the hands of someone who can test it from a strictly user view, rather than me as the developer. Thanks,

Buddy

By the way, I think you are right on the orange. I have a bunch ( a ton!) of different wide-angle, high-brightness LEDs coming, I can't wait to test the "warm white" against the orange. I really do like the blue as well, it just lack authenticity.

Hi, Last year I was fortunate to have a cockpit visit while flying on holiday from London to Palma. I flew on an A319 and that's what made me fall in love with the Airbus as compared to my many cockpit visit's to the 737. I asked the pilot to light everything up and took all the photo's I could and from my experience the back lighting was not 'full on' orange, but was a little more 'orange' than warm white. So I hope that helps! Myphoto's were uploaded here:

All the airbus photo's in this section are mine (there are about 10): http://www.mycockpit.org/photopost/showgallery.php?cat=613

Cheers,
