Twin engined cockpit dream

Hello! Thanks for having me on board. I've been flying RW and sims for longer than I care to remember. Just recently began to invest in control hardware. Would like to create a simple, one seat, probably non-enclosed, generic cockpit suitable for twin engined turboprops and jets. My DIY skills are average at best and I've forgotten anything I ever knew about electronics. I can, however, follow instructions. I have a triple mon set up using two video cards and Wide FS which gives me approx 120 degree field of view. I will probably keep this, but raise the screens off the table top on which they currently reside, to sit above a new 'panel/console'.

Pretty much my goal too, just be careful, cockpit building is addictive!! Welcome.

Welcome to the Forum :) Looks like you're going the same way i went. Just starting small and working up from there. And instructions ... what are those? :) Once again great to have you in the community. Best of luck with the build and keep us updated.

Thanks, guys, for the warm welcome. Hopefully I will be capable of producing a bare bones cockpit, at least a couple of steps up from keyboard, joystick and table-top monitors. Don't hold your breath, though. Fast this will not be. ;)
