hello there .

can't seem to find any info on this so maybe some can shed some light here for me. . .

I would like to have the callouts during takeoff and landing so I downlaoded PM's callout sounds.

I installed everything and am running a registered fsuipc .

All I get when I'm the runway and taking off is 80 knots from a female vocie and thats it.

Is there a way special way to set this up or ???

I'm using the default beoing 737 and FSX using xp 64.

I also tried using it on my client computer which runs freefd and I still get the same 1 sound.

I just want to get the callouts sounds going like I've seen some of them on youtube.

thanks for reading.

As far as I know, unless you have other PM software (Boeing, Airbus, RJ) with the CDU/FCU you won't be able to set any other speed / altitudes. You will only get the "80 knots" callout, GPWS sounds and altitude callouts on landing.

Also, are you aware you need to run PM Sounds in the background? Meaning, you need to start the PM Sound program before starting FS.

Aaaaaaaa crap!!!... I knew something else was missing... So, is there somehting else that I need to purchase inorder to get these sounds to work..

Also, besides PM callout sounds, are they any other callout sounds that work with the default 737 in fsx.

thanks for the reply though..

ok.. after playing around with it, I did manage to get a few more callouts but this is only when I'm landing.. it's calls out the AGL and landing gear, don't sink etc..

When taking off, it only calls 80 knots and then when above the ground, it says to put landing gear up.

So, most of it is working when landing, but when takeoff, only 80 knots works... any idea how can I get it to say more knots..
will still play aorund with it..

thanks.

That is all you will get as far as I know - but there should be some freeware somewhere that does the same thing. Check out flightsim.com files.

First, you'll have surely noticed that any single sound that PMSounds can play, must be activated (checked) from within the executable, and I guess you've already done that ...

Then you may wanna take a look at the soundlist.txt file.

But by that time you kneed to get acquainted a little bit with the hexadecimal offsets (memory locations) of Flight Simulator, of FSUIPC (if you run it) and of PMSYstems (if you run it).

Then you can do ... almost anything what you want !!
:p
Have fun,

If you don't have PM's Boeing or Airbus s/w, you will not get the full functionality of PmSounds, in example for V1,V2,VR, or TopOfDescent.
But you can use std offsets from Fsuipc to control when and how a specific sound will play.
i.e when 0280 is 1 play a custom welcome.mp3 sound
Check at PmSound’s ini files for examples
